gelato making classes

Currently, our Gelato Making classes run from November to February.
We open the door to our state of the art Gelato Lab and offer you the only hands-on gelato making class in the Greater Philadelphia Area and beyond.
What to expect & what is included
Our one of a kind experience includes:
A welcome espresso, tea or hot chocolate drink and a slice of our gluten friendly, signature chocolate Tenerina Torte from Vincenzo’s hometown of Ferrara, Italy
An informative and entertaining 60-minute gelato class with one of our professionally trained & amazing gelato chefs.
Learn about authentic, artisanal Italian gelato and how we utilize fresh ingredients to craft it.
Work in pairs to create 2 gelato flavors (each pair will work on both flavors, making an equal portion of each batch) from scratch: we do NOT use pre-made gelato powders or artificially flavored gelato pastes like everybody else!
Flavors we make in class are Madagascar Vanilla (with real vanilla beans) and Sea Salt Caramel (with homemade caramel and pink Himalayan sea salt). Both flavors are gluten free.
1 pint per flavor, per person (2 total pints per person) of the gelato made in class to take home and enjoy (a $28 value)
PLEASE NOTE: these classes are for entertainment purposes only, they are NOT professional classes.
Our gelato base will be already made because it must rest overnight.
We are not able to share full recipes of our flavors.
AGE LIMIT
Please note that our classes are meant for an audience of 16 years and older. If any participant is under the age of 18 please let us know at checkout or via email, and they must be accompanied by an adult.
Where and when our classes are held
Classes are hosted in our Gelato Lab located at 12 West Market Street , West Chester PA 19382. Please refer to the individual class schedule online for date & time before purchasing.
How to reserve your spot/s in class
To reserve your spot/s in the class, full advanced payment via credit card is required (PLEASE READ REFUND/RESCHEDULING POLICY BELOW):

Because of the nature of the event (once a class is sold out, we do not take any more reservations for that specific date) a full refund will be issued only if your reservation is cancelled at least 21 days (3 weeks) before the class scheduled date, cancellation can be made via phone (West Chester Store) or email (vincenzo@gemelligelato.com). This will allow us enough time to re-start marketing for the event and hopefully find new attendees.
We understand that life gets busy, therefore you will be able to re-schedule your class (to a future available date) up to 7 days (1 week) before your current class scheduled date. For groups of 3 or more, the deadline is 14 days (2 weeks). Please be advised that you can only re-schedule once.
No-shows will forfeit their class and will NOT receive any refund.
Classes with less than 4 attendees will be re-scheduled to a later date, if that date does not work for you and your party you can request to be moved to a different date or for a full refund.
